Tallow + Frankincense Face Balm

We are very excited about our new Tallow + Frankincense Face Balm! It is formulated specifically for your face with grass-fed tallow, organic jojoba oil, organic frankincense and organic elderberry.

Tallow is rich in vitamins and minerals that are extremely moisturizing and biocompatible with our skin. Frankincense is biblical and powerful for a reason! It is rich in antioxidants and can help to rejuvenate the skin, heal wounds, heal acne and eczema, tighten the skin, and balance the skin’s oil levels. Elderberry is full of antioxidants and vitamins, enriching its moisturizing and healing properties. It can help fight wrinkles, dark spots, and un-even skin tone. 

Ingredients: 100% grass-fed + dry-rendered beef tallow, organic jojoba oil, infused with organic frankincense resin and organic elderberry. 

We infuse this powerful balm with whole elderberries and frankincense resin instead of using essential oils. This guarantees the cross-over of all the beneficial and miraculous healing powers of the frankincense that an essential oil does not carry anymore.

Our tallow is from small farms in Kalispell, MT that care for their grass-fed livestock. We bring it home and dry-render it before making it into amazing tallow products for you! Dry-rendering is a process of rendering that does not involve adding water or salt. First, the fat is melted down by itself at a low temperature over several hours. We then strain and filter all the impurities out and let it harden until the remaining impurities settle to the bottom. We scrape the bottom off and remelt it, starting the process over again. We do this several times until there are no longer impurities settling at the bottom. It is a time consuming process, but well worth it!
